Scheduled Departures 2008: 10 January / 25 May / 15 September

Day 1.
Arrive at Whk Int. Airport. Transfer to your lodge near Windhoek in the central highlands. Close to the capital. Rather a first night in an African atmosphere.Late afternoon game drive in an open game drive vehicle. Okapuka Lodge/ Amani Lodge / Heja Lodge. – dinner / bed / b’fast and game drive. Beautiful surroundings.

Day 2.
Leave after a healthy b’fast for a game lodge ( 3 hours drive through private farmland. Cake and coffee - 3 hour game drive - wonderful dinner at the lodge restaurant. Frans Ndongo Lodge / Aloegrove Lodge.

Day 3. 
Leave for Etosha Nat. Park. Accommodation at Onguma / Mokuti Lodge just outside the park.– Dinner / bed / b’fast. Late afternoon game drives with your guide with our vehicle.

Day 4. 
Game drive in our vehicle during the day. Overnight inside the park if possible. (alternatively at a lodge just outside the park) on the southern end of the park. Etosha Safari Lodge.

Day 5.
Leave Etosha Nat. Park for Damaraland. Twyfelfontein lodge. En route, you will visit the petrified forest / burnt mountain and bushman rock engravings at Twyfelfontein.( d/b/b'fast).

Day 6.
Leave after b'fast via a 4 x 4 dry river bed drive in searching for the desert elephants. Very nice and an adventurous experience. Overnight at Palmwag Lodge / Grootberg Lodge. Beautiful sceneries.

After b'fast, you leave for Swakopmund via the skeleton coast. En route, you will see the indigenous plant (Welwitchia Mirabilis) and an old shipwreck as well as the largest seal colony on the west coast of Africa. The scenery on the 1st part of the journey is very interesting. From the seal colony, it is an hour's drive to Swakopmund. Book in at your private hotel. Perfect setting.
(B & B only) Pension Rapmund / Schweizerhaus Hotel. There are several restaurants in town. * OPTIONAL – Quid bike rides on the dunes.

Day 8.      
After a late b'fast, you will leave for Sossusvlei dunes area. Overnight at a comfortable lodge at Solitaire / other. En-route, you will see the moonlandscape and some interesting scenery from the Namib Desert as you will drive through it. Basis at the lodge - d/ b / b'fast. 

Day 9.
Leave early morning for the dunes at Sossusvlei. You will have enough time to experience this wonderful scenery and peaceful environment. Continue at about Lunch time for your next destination - Desert Homestead Lodge / other. d / b / b'fast. 

Day 10.
Leave for the Fish river canyon itself - 2 viewpoints - onwards to your lodge nearby. Canon Lodge / Canon Roadhouse.

Today, your journey takes you to a wonderful lodge in the Kalahari. ( Anib Lodge / Auob Lodge). Basis – d / b / b’fast. . Late afternoon game drive on an open game drive vehicle

Day 12.
Late B'fast. Leave for Windhoek. Light lunch in town. Visit several interesting places and projects and also go for a drive through the city. Leave in time to the airport for your flight.
