Day 1.
Arrive at Windhoek Int. airport - leave for your game lodge to the north. Full Board includes Coffee / Tea and homemade cake followed by a 3 hour game drive. - wonderful Africa cuisine at dinner time.
Animals to see are sable / roan /white & black rhino /Eland, Giraffe etc. All on a 10 000 hectare private reserve.
Day 2.
Leave for Etosha national park. Game Drives in the late afternoon.
Wonderful thatched roof lodge accommodation. ( Mokuti / Mushara )
Day 3.
We shall leave for the Okavango Region. Comfortable lodge with an excellent setting on the edge of the Okavango River. Boat ride in the late afternoon for a great sunset over the Okavango river. ( Ndovo Lodge / Mahango Safari Lodge).
Day 4.
Your journey takes you to the Caprivi Region - (220 km)
Overnight at a very comfortable lodge in a wilderness area. The lodge is situated on the edge of the Kwando River. Borders with Botswana. Game drives in the area – listen to the sounds of Africa. etc. You will visit the well known "horseshoe area where one can see Hundreds of elephants in a herd. Real wilderness and adventurous. Kwando Camp.
Day 5 / 6.
B'fast - leave for the Chobe in Botswana - 5 hours drive, including a Game drive along the Chobe River. “ The Chobe never lets you down”.
Book in at our lodge - CHOBE SAFARI LODGE . (3 nights). This is a very comfortable lodge with also the perfect setting on the edge of the well-known Chobe River. – 2 x dinners, 2 x B’fast, morning game Drive along the Chobe river – late afternoon boat cuise on day two.
Day 7.
Today, we shall leave for a wonderful tented lodge with en suite facilities. Situated in the African bush. Wilderness area. Listen to the night sounds. Your journey will be an adventurous one with heavy sandy roads. 9 hours journey.
Day 8.
Today, your journey ( game drives ) takes you into the Moremi National Park. As far as I am concern this is the most natural environment for wild animals in the world. We shall have some water hazards to cross – sandy and bumpy roads, which all form part of a real African safari. Where we found a good sighting, we shall stop and relax while watching the animals. Slow pace today. Picnic lunch under a huge tree and near water. You will also have a 2 hour boat trip deeper into the delta. Small channels etc. Back to the lodge in the late afternoon.
Day 9.
Another day at the lodge with game drives to River Kwai. Whole day outing.
Day 10.
Leave for a tented lodge ( with en suite facilities ) near the Makgadikgadik Pans. Thousands of zebras can be seen and heard. Watch them form the lodge. Easy day today with not nuch driving. Enjoy a good dinner. Drinks ( wine and beer ) are included tonight.
Day 11.
After b’fast, you will leave for Nata Lodge near the Sowa Pans. Your journey will take you via the Makgadikgadik Park to the famous Thomas Baines Baobabs ( painted in 1868 by him - still look the same as 140 years ago). In the late afternoon , you will leave for the pans. Beautiful sunset over the flat salty pans. ( occasionally filled with water ). Bird sanctuary. Luxury Tented en- suite accommodation.
Day 12 / 13.
Leave for Victoria Falls. 300 km boring tar road. You need a visa entrée for Zimbabwe.Visa entry for own account - US$ 30 – 00 P.P.
BASIS IN VICTORIA FALLS IS B & B ONLY WITH FALLS VISIT.
