The ideal time for departure for this tour is from April to November with the best departure date at beginning of September to have a change to see the wild flowers in Namaqualand.

Day 1. 
Arrive in Cape Town – South Africa. Transfer to your very comfortable upmarket Guest 
House. ( It depends on your arrival time for any activities in the late afternoon.)

Day 2. 
Leave after b’fast for Cape Point ( where the 2 Oceans meet – Indian and Atlantic).
Your drive takes you through beautiful areas and along the coastline.
Experience the most southern point of the Africa continent. Enjoy a light lunch in the 
harbor town of Simonstown. On your journey back to your Guest House, you will visit 
several places of interest, like the Penguins at Boulders Bay and a view of the Peninsula
from Signal Hill. Dinner is a t a wonderful restaurant.

Day 3. 
Today, you will leave for Hermanus, a beautiful town on the coast. Hermanus is known for 
whale watching and perfect setting. Afternoon at leisure. Restaurant dinner.

Day 4. 
Leave after b’fast for Francshoek. This is wine country with a strong French influence.
You will have a wine tasting en-route as well as visits to interesting towns, like 
Stellenbosch. A wellknown university with a typical student atmosphere. Buildings dated
back to the 17 Century. Once arrive in Francshoek, you will have most of the afternoon 
for yourself to explore the town and wander around on your own. Again, a wonderful 
Guest House with superb cuisine. Dinner at a well known restaurant with good wine.

Day 5. 
We leave the Cape for another interesting area where fisherman still fish in the old fashion 
way. Your destination is at Lambertsbay along the Atlantic ocean. Enjoy wonderful 
seafood tonight. Your journey takes you along the west coast line. Interesting route and to 
experience the famous west coast with its unique atmosphere.

Day 6. 
Leave for Springbok town in the Northern Cape Province. Harsh country side. The capital 
of the “flower area”. Visit interesting places en route to get an idea of what the area offers.
( The wild flowers are in bloom from late August and early September). This is a wonderful 
time to visit the area. Accommodation is at a Guest Farm outside the town. 

Day 7. 
After a late b’fast, you leave for the Augrabies water falls near Kakamas town.
Your drive takes you again through semi desert area. The falls is impressive as the water 
falls through a very narrow gorge. Arrive at about lunch time. Afternoon at leisure and 
enough time for you to wander around the falls. Bungalow accommodation with a 
restaurant dinner. 

Day 8. 
The wildlife part starts today, as you will leave after b’fast via Upington town to the well 
known Klagadik National Park ( Kalahari ). Overnight at Twee Rivieren ( where 2 rivers 
meet – Auob and Nossob). Night game drive on offer, followed by dinner in the restaurant.

Day 9. 
After an early b’fast, you will do game drivers in your own vehicle during the day. Your 
journey takes you to Nossop Camp. Arrive at about lunch time. Picnic Lunch.
In the afternoon, you will come back to Twee Rivieren Camp.

Day 10. 
Another day in the park. Game drives most of the day. Overnight at a lodge outside the 
park.

Day 11. 
Leave for Namibia via Rietfontein border post. It is a long journey today, but the lodge 
Near the Fishriver Canyon is very comfortable. Arrival time is at about 15: 00.

Day 12. 
After a nice breakfast, you will leave for the canyon 2 x view points. 
The Fishriver Canyon is the 2 nd largest Canyon in the world to the Grand Canyon.
After your visit, you leave via beautiful harsh country side to a very interesting Guest
farm in semi desert area. It is beautiful scenery along jour journey and one realize now 
why they often refer to Namibia as the “country of Contrast”. 

Day 13. 
Another exciting day in the desert as you leave after a late breakfast for Sossusvlei area.
Overnight at a wonderful lodge with good cuisine. Beautiful scenery. Late afternoon 
nature drive with an impressive sunset.

Day 14. 
Leave early morning for Sossusvlei dunes. Climb a dune or two and enjoy the silence as 
well as your picnic Breakfast under the huge Camelthorn Trees. Leave before it gets to 
hot for your lodge in the hart of the Namib desert. A very interesting “moonlandscape 
house” formation with excellent food and cuisine. Another excellent sunset to expect over 
the desert.

Day 15. 
Enjoy a late breakfast and leave via harsh country side and mountains to Windhoek.
Arrival time at your lodge in the highlands will be at about lunch time. Late afternoon 
game drive. Dinner at the lodge.

Day 16. 
Late b’fast – leave for Windhoek - Wander around in this clean city of us and go on a 
short city tour with your guide. Leave for the airport for your flight.
