Day 1.
Arrive in Johannesburg and leave immediately to your wonderful lodge outside the city. Johannesburg is the CITY OF GOLD
And a typical European city of fast life. Take a rest at your lodge. Late afternoon game drive in the lodge’s open game drive vehicles. Dinner at the Lodge.
Day 2.
After a good b’fast, we shall leave for Mphumalanga Region with its beautiful sceneries and attractions like water falls and big mountains. Overnight at a comfortable lodge again after visiting some of these attractions like Pelgrims Rest ( old Gold Mine town ), Dullstroom an touristic town, the Long Tom Pass, etc.
Day 3.
Another day in the area and visit God’s Window sceneries, Burke’s Luck Potholes and drive through beautiful landscapes. Overnight at the same lodge with dinner at the Lodge.
Day 4.
Today, our journey takes us to the Kruger National park for game viewing. We shall overnight at a lodge just outside the park. Game drives during the late afternoon. Enjoy a romantic dinner at the lodge.
Day 5.
Another day of game viewing and game drives in the park.
Overnight at a lodge on the other side of the park.
Day 6.
Our journey today, takes us back via Johannesburg to the more central part of South Africa. Freestate Province.This journey is an overnight stop. We shall stay over at a game lodge again. Dinner at the lodge.
Day 7.
We shall leave after a healthy b’fast for the Eastern Cape Province. It is known as the Karoo. Wide open spaces. Overnight at a Guest Farm with dinner at the Guest farm.
Day 8. Leaving for Beaufort Wes and Oudshoorn where the famous Kango caves are. Very interesting landscapes. Visit the caves – 2 hours. Overnight at a comfortable lodge just outside Oudtshoorn. Dinner at the lodge.
Day 9.
After a good b’fast, we leave via the beautiful Swartberg Pass to George. This is unbelievable beautiful area as we get close to the ocean.
Wonder around in the Wilderness town with its many craft shops. Etc. Take it easy and overnight at a hotel on the beach. Dinner at a restaurant.
Day 10.
Our drive today, takes us along the Garden route to Hermanus. Famous place to watch the Whales etc. Overnight at a nice hotel. Dinner for own account. This is the place for seafood.
Day 11.
B’fast and leave via the coat road to Cape Town. Beautiful road with magnificent sceneries. Stop along the way, etc. Book in at our wonderful Guest House. Afternoon at leisure and free. Dinner for own account tonight.
Day 12.
Leave after b’fast for Cape Point ( where the 2 Oceans meet – Indian and Atlantic). Your drive takes you through beautiful areas and along the coastline.
Experience the most southern point of the Africa continent. Enjoy a light lunch in the
harbor town of Simonstown. On your journey back to your Guest House, you will visit several places of interest, like the Penguins at Boulders Bay and a view of the Peninsula from Signal Hill. Dinner is a t a wonderful restaurant.
Day 13.
Leave after b’fast for Francshoek. This is wine country with a strong French influence. You will have a wine tasting en-route as well as visits to interesting towns, like Stellenbosch. A wellknown university with a typical student atmosphere. Buildings dated back to the 17 Century. Once arrive in Francshoek, you will have most of the afternoon for yourself to explore the town and wander around on your own. There are many shops and a real French atmosphere. Again, a wonderful Guest House with superb cuisine. Dinner at a well known restaurant with good wine.
Day 14.
Late b’fast. We shall take a drive along some other wineries and places of interest. Enjoy lunch together. Transfer to the airport for your flight from Cape Town.
